The Power Animal, or Spirit Animal, is a powerful guide and protector that stays with a person throughout their life. We all have one, as well as several other spirit guides who guide and protect us when we need them. They communicate through messages, dreams, artifacts, and synchronicities. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, a Power Animal leaves the person it protects. This person then begins to feel weak, overwhelmed, and sometimes stuck. From a shamanic perspective, a chronic illness or physical or mental weakness is seen as a loss of power, and, by extension, the loss of the Power Animal. During this shamanic ceremony, the shaman practitioner enters a trance to meet the client's spirit guides and their Power Animal. They then communicate their power, their message, and the healing they offer to that person. Finding your Power Animal gives strength, and often allows you to give meaning to your journey and your goal in life. **** The Power Animal is a powerful guide and protector who accompany a person for a lifetime. Then, they will communicate their power, guidance, and medicine for the client, who will deliver their message once back from the trance. Retrieve one’s power animal provides strength, and often allows to create sense and purpose into our life.
